Bay Area Business Wins U.S. Chamber Of Commerce Award

Tampa, FL – February 24, 2014 - B-AG Contract, a leader in creating distinctive high-performance workplace interiors, has been honored with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Blue Ribbon Small Business Award. This national award recognizes successful companies for their dedication to the principles of free enterprise and contributions to restoring jobs and supporting economic growth.
This year’s 100 winners were selected from a record number of applicants across the nation, and distinguished themselves through their professional accomplishments, community leadership, philanthropy, customer service and employee relations.
“As the business community has worked hard to do it’s part in moving the country forward economically, small businesses have continued to be the driving force responsible for much of our progress,” says U.S. Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue. “Our Blue Ribbon Award winners are the best of the best – growing and succeeding despite significant challenges.”
By winning this award, B-AG Contract is now eligible for the Community Excellence Award, which will be decided by online public voting February 19-28th. This award recognizes companies that make a substantial positive contribution to their local community.
“We recognize the importance of being a responsible corporate citizen, caring for the environment and giving back to the community,” says B-AG Contract owner William Everett, Jr., AIA. “In keeping with our culture of accountability we have invested over 700 volunteer hours annually and donated over $65K in goods and services to local charities in the past 3 years alone.”
Long recognized as the leader in its field, B-AG Contract has been honored with a variety of prestigious awards. This past fall, B-AG Contract was recognized as Small Business of the Year by the Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
